Sergeant Edwin Cousil served in the Royal Field Artillery before joining the Royal Garrison Artillery.


Sergeant Cousil signed page 18 of Nurse Harvey’s autograph album. In his message he states that he was wounded on 24th November 1914 and admitted to hospital on 12th September 1916 with malaria before being discharged on 24th October 1916.


Sergeant Cousil was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
