Gunner John Stoddart served with the 4th division in the 32nd Brigade Royal Field Artillery, initially as a driver before becoming a gunner.

Gunner Stoddart went to France in late August 1914.



According to his entry in Nurse Harvey’s autograph book Gunner Stoddart was injured at Marly on 12th February 1916.



Gunner Stoddart was awarded the 1914 star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
